The last few comments in this thread made me lol at how the WT twists scriptures that talk about unity and getting along into meaning that everyone has to believe exactly the same thing. Being on the same page doesn't mean that at all.

Strange cult that could be a clone of the WTS from the 1920's?
by dissed inas strange and odd as this controlling cult is, it almost describes to a 't' the wts lead by judge rutherford from the 1920's.

I think Leolaia explained quite articulately and accurately why the idea of her being a virgin is brought up. Because in that society, once you've married and had your kids you were expendable. Before being married and having kids, you had value.

It's unsourced which means it is every bit as credible as any WT or Awake magazine.
The official report comes out in the Yearbook. The only ones with access to it at this point are bigwigs or people who know bigwigs. Perhaps a letter has been sent out to COs with the data? Or maybe a simple leak from Brooklyn?

God cares to the extent that we care, I'm beginning to think. He only exists in our reality to the extent that we believe in Him. If you're certain there is no God, then for you there is no god. There seems to be something inside us that can be brought out and made manifest with faith.
This sounds loony because I don't have my head wrapped around it yet, and maybe I never will.
But I'm believing less and less in an actual "person" of GOD who exists somewhere else and has been ignoring us all for millennia. If he exists, if he's real, then he's here in some way and we just don't know how to call on him properly. Of course, believing he's omnipresent but doing nothing implies something less than omnipotence and omniscience on his part.
Ah, well. I don't know. Talking out loud like this kind of helps, though. If I figure anything out I'll let you know.

Dead Relatives and the Resurrection. Why the need to See Dead People?

It would be cool if we could pick who we see again and who we don't have to see again. But all of them? Every single dead person? That's a valid question. I have no good answer for it. I can count on my fingers and toes the total number of people who are dead that I'd like to see again.
